Chloe Hennessee is a 17-year-old award winning singer-songwriter from New York City.
In the fall of 2017, Chloe won the NYC Teen Songwriting Contest sponsored by Guitar Mash and the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. She then performed her winning song, Awake, at City Winery NYC - backed up by Mark Stewart and the incredible Guitar Mash House Band.
In the spring of 2018, Chloe won the Teen Division of the New England Songwriting Competition sponsored by Eventide Theatre Company and performed at the Finalist Showcase in Cape Cod, MA.
Chloe has also performed as a soloist with the Cantigas Women’s Choir of New Jersey, the Saint Bartholomew’s Youth Choir, as well as national honor choirs across the country.
In 2013, Chloe recorded her first EP, which consists of original songs written between the ages of 8 and 11.
In January, 2018, Chloe recorded Awake at
Power Station Berklee NYC. Her new album, Ups & Downs, was recorded later that year and released in March, 2019. It contains 7 originals including a new arrangement of the award winning song, Awake. Chloe is currently in talks with an independent film maker regarding the use of Awake in a movie and also a possible appearance in the film - more on that to come!
